The 24th annual Congress of the ECSS (European College of Sports Sciences) took place for the first time in the Czech Republic thanks to co-organisation with Charles University. The congress brought top experts from around the world to the Prague Congress Centre to present their research in the field of sports sciences and the experience and vision of professionals who are dedicated to one of the most fascinating areas of sports. Before the start of the congress, a press conference was also held with the Minister of Health and the Mayor of Prague present. The former president of the ECSS, Tim Cable, confirmed his satisfaction with the event held in Prague at PCC. "I think it was an interesting combination for us to present cutting-edge scientific findings in such a beautiful city as Prague, where there are also many activities that you can do after the official programme is over. And that is exactly the kind of feedback I get from our delegates," said Tim Cable.
