This year, we are investing over 120 million crowns in the modernization of our sound, theater, and stage equipment. The most significant technological innovation is the new L-Acoustics L2 system, which we are the first venue in the Czech Republic to install in our Congress Hall, with a capacity of 2,764 seats.
The new sound system delivers equally clear and intelligible sound throughout the entire hall – for congresses and conferences as well as concerts, musicals and other cultural events. The system is also ready to be expanded with L-ISA immersive sound technology. This creates the impression that the sound is coming directly from the action on stage – for example, it can acoustically follow a performer as they move across the stage, drawing the audience much deeper into the experience itself.
We are also modernizing the theatre and stage technologies in our two largest halls. The new equipment will provide greater safety and reliability while also expanding the possibilities for technically demanding productions.
Visitors can already experience the new technologies this autumn.
