Prague Congress Centre opens to the public as part of the Open House Prague festival
05. 05. 2026
The Open House Prague festival returns for its twelfth edition and will open more than 100 normally inaccessible architectural sites to the public over the weekend of 23–24 May.
The Prague Congress Centre is once again part of the festival and will offer visitors a unique opportunity to go behind the scenes of one of the most important Czech buildings used for conferences, cultural, and social events.
During the tour, visitors will learn about the workings of the congress industry and explore selected halls and lounges. The visit will also include a look at the artworks that decorate the building’s interiors, as well as the opportunity to enjoy views of Prague from its spaces.
This year’s festival focuses on the transformation of the city, the care of architectural heritage, and the adaptive reuse of both historic and contemporary buildings. Visitors will be able to discover not only iconic landmarks but also sites undergoing renovation or seeking new functions within a dynamically evolving metropolis.
Admission to participating venues is free and without prior registration (except for some accompanying events). More information and the full programme are available on the Open House Prague website.
