We took our European guests all the way up to the rooftop

On Monday, 12 October, the Prague Congress Centre welcomed a delegation from the European Commission led by Céline Gauer, Director-General for Energy. The purpose of the visit was to present our rooftop photovoltaic power plant and share our experience in operating a large building more sustainably.
Lenka Žlebková, CEO of the Prague Congress Centre, together with Kamil Čermák, CEO of ČEZ ESCO, presented the solar power plant project. Its implementation was supported by the European Union through the NextGenerationEU programme under the National Recovery Plan. The meeting was attended by representatives of the European Commission, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, ČEZ ESCO and the Prague Congress Centre.
The programme also included a tour of the power plant on the building’s rooftop, led by Pavel Habarta, Deputy Director for Technical Operations. In addition to exploring the technology itself, the visit offered guests a view of Prague from a unique perspective.
We are delighted to have had the opportunity to share our experience with photovoltaic technology and present one of the concrete steps we are taking towards more sustainable operations at the Prague Congress Centre.
