A show dedicated to their work will present the most important stages of both composers careers, from iconic songs of the 1960s to melodies written for Sergio Leone s films and created for Hollywood. The programme will allow you not only to hear the works of the incomparable masters live, but also to take a unique emotional journey along the waves of Rota and Morricone s creativity, in which eternal themes intertwine with the inner world of the creators. Marcello Rota, world-renowned conductor, was the inspiration behind the project. ITALIAN TENOR OF INTERNATIONAL RENOWN Alessandro Safina became interested in music at an early age. His parents were passionate opera fans and tried to pass on this passion to their son. At the age of seventeen he entered the Florence Conservatory and a few years later he was already performing solo in the best European musical theatres. The first prize in the International Singing Competition named after Kati Ricciarelli in 1989 was followed by active stage work and leading roles in the operas La Boheme, The Barber of Seville, The Love Potion, Rusalka and Eugene Onegin. A UNIQUE VOICE, NATURAL CHARM AND CREATIVE COURAGE Safin s unique voice, natural charm and creative courage have made him famous throughout the world. He performed operatic arias and dreamed of making classical art comprehensible to the common listener. As a result, a new genre was born, which the artist himself later called opera rock - a style that combined elements of pop music, academic singing, soul and musical theatre. Safin had great success in the Netherlands when he took part in The Night Of The Proms concert. The single Luna from the album Insieme a te stayed at the top of the Dutch charts for 14 weeks. The album itself was released in more than 30 countries, going gold in Brazil and Taiwan and going platinum four times in the Netherlands alone. Since then Alessandro has given the world stunning duets with Sarah Brightman, Elton John and Ewan McGregor, Barbara Hendricks, Sumi Cho and other artists. In addition to her singing career, Safina has appeared in films and contributed to soundtracks (such as Baz Luhrmann s Moulin Rouge!). Currently, the famous tenor performs on the world s best stages - in the UK, Ireland, Italy, Brazil, Canada, Korea, USA, France, the Netherlands and other countries.

The most famous ballet in the world, Swan Lake, performed by soloists from the Royal London Ballet for the first time in the Czech Republic. Beautiful music, a touching story about true love, and above all, great ballet performances by the soloists of the Royal London Ballet and other members of the international ensemble continue the tradition of Christmas ballet performances in Prague, Brno and Ostrava . The Royal London Ballet belongs to the London Opera House and is connected by a long common history that began in 1732. Already in 1734, the first ballet performance was presented here. The renowned jazz vocal quartet New York Voices joins with the Big Band Czech National Symphony Orchestra (The Loop Jazz Orchestra) to bring a Christmas concert that combines American jazz traditions and European symphonic artistry. Mireille Mathieu adds a second concert in Prague on her 60 YEARS OF LOVE tour. Due to great demand, Mireille Mathieu and her accompanying orchestra are adding a second concert on 18 December 2024 at the Prague Congress Centre. The French chansonnier is happy to return to Prague thanks to the huge success of her Czech fans and this year she will again give two concerts - on 17 and 18 December - as part of her new tour, which she has poetically named 60 years of love. The world chanson star Mireille Mathieu is loved by audiences all over the world. She is the successor to the legendary French chansonnier Edith Piaf. And like her famous predecessor, Mireille Mathieu always sings live and with full commitment. In her 60 years in the music industry, she has released countless original songs and performed on every continent. Millions of albums have been sold to prove her popularity. As a world-renowned singer, she has collaborated with the biggest stars such as Paul Anka, Charles Aznavour, Tom Jones, Julio Iglesias and many others. INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL BALLET performs the world's largest "Swan Lake" in Prague, Brno and Ostrava, accompanied by orchestra
The uniqueness of the performance will lie in the fact that the company will perform the largest Swan Lake in the world in Prague, Brno and Ostrava.
48 swan ballet dancers on stage is a record of sorts. The usual number of white swans in a Swan Lake performance is 16-24.
The performance will also be accompanied by the Festival Orchestra.

Last year marked the 100th anniversary of The Duke Ellington Orchestra - the only orchestra that can officially bear the name of legendary American musician Edward Duke Ellington, the greatest jazz composer of the 20th century. Duke personally led the orchestra for over 50 years, between 1923 and 1974. In 2025, the Duke Ellington Orchestra will hold three exclusive concerts in the Czech Republic, specifically in Brno, Prague and Pardubice. These performances will be the only opportunities to experience the orchestra s masterful jazz interpretations in the Czech Republic that year. The concerts promise to be unforgettable events for jazz lovers and are a testament to the enduring legacy of the genius of Duke Ellington. It is certain to be one of the greatest jazz experiences in the country in 2025.
